GOT THIS PROCESSOR IN A TOSHIBA LAPTOP. USING FOR BUSINESS, GRAPHICS A WEB DESIGN. SO FAR HAS DONE EVERYTHING I ASKED OF IT.

It is because a Terrible user don't know how to use K10stat to explore this CPU potential.

After used K10stat, even i3-2310 can win A6-3400m only in memory benchmark .

True, most benchmarks, not all... And the difference is not that big between them to call the A6-3400m "terrible".

Besides, compare the laptop offers for the A6 and the i3 M370, for the A6 you can get a Gateway NV55S04u or a Toshiba Satellite for $425 - $500... for the i3 M470 I'm seeing the prices range between $600 - $850...

From the way you wrote that I'm speculating you might have been expecting "good results" for the A6 in gaming? While the A6 3400m is aimed for medium performance laptops (not meant for gaming), it can still play most recent games (2011) at good FPS setting the games to low graphic settings, and for a $400/$500 laptop offer I say that's a pretty good trait...

Not bad at all!

If your look at the Windows 7 WEI, it does better than most out there.
If you are editing video or doing a lot of multi-layer photo work, your probably will not be using a laptop.
As for gaming, it handles Deus EX at 1280x720 just fine.
Cheap, but does quite well.

Is awesom got it overclocked in my laptop to 2.7ghz and kept under the thermal max....beats all the intel i3 series in all tests boo ya

I'm using Asus A43TA A6-3400M with 1GB Radeon 6720G2.

You should try this notebook, the 6 cells battery could get 3 hours with "Entertainment power setting" and up to 4 hours with "Battery Saving power setting" (internet and office activity).

This APU is FASTER than the Intel i7-2600 Google it for yourselves. You have no idea what you are talking about. It out performs Intel on EVERY gaming benchmark which is real life usage generally. So you kids go ahead and run your benchmarks designed to be run on Intel cores and We the adults...will simply smoke your cores to death in every game out there! Nice try Intel...but Your toast! Your going to have to buy nvidia to even get close! bye bye Intel!!

intel cpu's are much faster with a dedicated gpu these apu's arent even fast enough to use there integrated gpu to full potential there is no comparison to intel hd graphics the apus are a millions times faster but an intel i3-i5-i7 with a dedicated gpu will eat an apu for breakfast lunch dinner and midnight snack i am not a "fanboy" as some may call it i do own an apu and an intel proc w/dedicated and the comment i see about "little boys" and adults/men is retarded these apu's are meant for people on a budget for people who cant afford a more expensive laptop with a dedicated gpu and the k10stat bs no one that isnt a moron would even overclock there laptop with limited budget cooling ive seen most of these laptops that these amd cpus come in there horrible and cheap with spraypainted clearcoat trackpads bendy flexy chassis and what not cheap as cheap can be sorry to blow anyones bubble

K10 stat just lets all 4 cores run in the turbo mode. AMD have made the processor so that it usually runs only 2 cores in turbo mode or all 4 at base speed. They were generous with the voltages too so this can be achieved at a lower voltage than standard therefore having no increase in temperature.

So this is not an overclock but more a removal of the safety protocols of AMD which were un-needed in the first place.

I am guessing by the comments that nearly everyone here (especially the guy saying "you kids go ahead and...") is under 20 years of age with the mentality of a 15 year old.
The fellow above me is wrong. K10Stat doesn't just remove limitations. It removes them and then some. How do I know this? Because I have my sabine set to hit 3.0 on all cores with a slight voltage boost when it hits turbo.
Did it show any improvement in real world application? Yes. How much? I gain 5-7 fps in Skyrim and about 10 playing dead island. I can run both dead island and skyrim smoothly (albeit on low settings for skyrim, medium for dead island) at these clocks so I would have to say for a combo apu that is not too bad at all! AND running at 3 ghz on all 4 cores does not put my temps over 55ish at the worst of times, w/stock. :p NYAAAH. (ok, now I'm the one who sounds 15 :p)

I played games on this core that will not play on better grade computers & with the Radeon 6520 graphics the games look hd grade a great com. Can not be beat. Not a kid. Oit tech.

Amazing high-value laptop processor

I bought a 14-inch Toshiba laptop, it's working like a champ. Only downside, it seems to not have drivers available yet for Linux, tried both Ubuntu 11.10 & Mint 12, they seem to not know how to handle this processor and GPU yet.

i have an Intel i7-2760QM and the lowest frquency it runs is 2.4 GHz. When my turbo boost activates it goes to around 3.4GHz. I also have an nvidia video card.I CAN SMOKE ALL OF U GUYS!!!!! INTEL RULES!!!!

APU crossfire

maybe an intel with a dedicated card is better then an APU. but how about an APU with an dedicated video card with crossfire(dual graphisc). I think is better then an intel + dedicated graphics :D
